Man charged after interfering with cars in Heaton

Police have charged a man with vehicle interference.
At 10:30pm on Saturday, July 28, police received a report of a man seen trying car doors in Lesbury Road in Heaton.
Officers attended and arrested a man at the scene. He was charged with four counts of interfering with a motor vehicle and will appear at Newcastle Magistrates Court on August 16.
