Drug dealers jailed after operation

Drug dealers who conspired to sell thousands of pounds worth of drugs in the north east have been jailed for a total of 17 years today (August 3).

Peter Greenhill, 37, of South Parade, Whitley Bay, was sentenced to eight and a half years at Leeds Crown Court.
Lee O'Brien, 27, of Fouracres Road, Cowgate, Newcastle was sentenced to eight and a half years (seven and a half years for drugs offences and one year consecutive for burglary).

Yvonne Sayers, 23, of Molineux Close, Byker, Newcastle, was sentenced to ten months, suspended for one year.

A total of £11,590 was also seized from Greenhill which has been forfeited under the misuse of drugs act.

They were arrested as part of Operation Mystique which targeted dealers bringing drugs to the north east from Merseyside.
