Officers from Jarrow and Hebburn are hosting an online meeting.

The public are invited to contact neighbourhood officers on Wednesday, May 16, from 6pm to 8pm.

Police will be available to answer any questions posed and give crime prevention advice. People can also find out more about their local neighbourhood team and how their area is policed.

Inspector Ian King said: "We hope local people will join us online to find out more about how we police their community.  Residents can stay for the entire meeting and share the views of other participants, or just spend a few minutes to ask a specific question.

"It's easy to take part and you don't even have to leave your home."

To take part - go to www.northumbria.police.uk/online and go to the South Tyneside - Jarrow and Hebburn online meeting link - and join in.
