[View Full Size]'PUT YOURSELF IN THEIR SHOES' - that's the message from Northumbria Police as a new campaign tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) is launched.
The phased initiative will begin over the summer months urging people to think about how their actions affect others, as well as explaining what ASB is and how to report it.
The campaign will highlight the positive work being carried out by police and partners to make a difference in local communities.
Sue Sim, Chief Constable of Northumbria Police said: "We know that anti-social behaviour is an issue which, if not properly tackled, can cause distress. This is why we are taking it seriously, working closely with local authorities and other partners to deal with it effectively.
"Officers will be out on patrol and will be speaking to people about the effect their behaviour can have on others in their community. We will also continue to take action where necessary."
