Police host virtual meeting

Police are inviting residents to join them in an online meeting.
The event takes place on Tuesday, September 18, from 6pm to 8pm for residents in East Shields, Cleadon, Boldon and Whitburn areas.
Neighbourhood Inspector Dave Hudson said: "These meetings are proving popular with local residents and we want to encourage people to make contact with the team.
"These informal get togethers make it easy for people to just pose a single question to officers, or to stay with us for the whole two hours and really get involved in the issues raised.
"We'll be helping people find out more about the work of the local neighbourhood policing team as well as giving updates on our local initiatives and forcewide campaigns."
