1 October 2017: Youth disorder at Metro Stations

"What you told us"
Youths are gathering at Felling, Heworth and Pelaw Metro Stations on an evening and weekends being disorderly and intimidating toward the general public.

"What are we doing about it?"
Officers are being deployed in the area as a high visibility deterrent, we have additional Metro Unit Police Patrols and are working with Nexus to resolve the issue. Letters are being sent to the parents of those involved and we are working in partnership with the Youth Offending Team to correct the behaviour of those identified causing the most serious issues.

"Keeping you informed"
We will publish any positive results through a variety of media opportunities and update the public at any of our meetings.

2. October 2017: Motorcycle Disorder

"What you told us"
Now that the weather is starting to pick up, incidents of motorcycle disorder have increased.

"What are we doing about it?"
Officers have been and will continue to proactively patrol the relevant areas, we will deal robustly with offenders and seize vehicles where appropriate. We are working closely with the local authority and housing companies to try and address this problem.

"Keeping you informed"
We will publish any positive results through a variety of media opportunities and update the public at any of our meetings.
