Neighbourhood priorities
Northumbria Police aims to meet our commitment to you.
The following Neighbourhood priorities relate to your area:
1. May 2012: Anti-social behaviour in vicinity of Cruddas Park
"What you told us"
Police and partners have received an increased number of reports of anti-social behaviour, mainly by youths, in the vicinity of Cruddas Park Community Centre and shopping mall. This behaviour largely relates to youths drinking alcohol and causing disorder in the area as a result.
"What we are doing about it"
Police have increased patrols in the area and are working closely with partners to address the issues. A Stand Alone Problem Solving meeting (SAPS) is to be established to address the root causes of the issue and address it as a long-term problem solving approach.

Police are urging local residents to continue to report incidents of anti-social behaviour to us and, in the meantime, will keep you updated with ongoing actions to address the issue.
2. May 2012: Anti-social behaviour caused by street drinkers in Westgate Hill/ Summerhill Park areas.

Anti-social behaviour caused by street drinkers in Westgate Hill/ Summerhill Park areas.
"What we are doing about it"
Police have received reports of increased anti-social behaviour in the vicinity of Summerhill Park and the surrounding streets caused by ‘street drinkers’.

Police rely upon information provided by members of the public and urge everyone to report any anti-social behaviour or suspicious incidents to us.
