Attempted shed burglaries in Battle Hill

Police are appealing for information after thieves attempted to break into a number of garden sheds in Wallsend.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning police received reports from householders in the Battle Hill area that two men had tried to force garden sheds and garage doors at Mitford Gardens, Bathgate Close, Tiverton Close and Embleton Avenue.
The first report was just after midnight.
Anyone who has any information or saw anything suspicious is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191.
