Appeal after expensive bike stolen

Police are appealing for witnesses after an expensive bike was stolen in North Tyneside.

It happened at 5.15pm on Monday, May 14, at Cycle Logical, Forest Hall Road, Forest Hall, when a staff member's bike was in the rear yard of the premises.

An offender climbed the wall and stole it. The bike is a black, white and red 22-inch Orbea Alma, with a gold seat post and white spokes with red hubs. The bike is worth almost £2,000.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft or anyone with information about the stolen bike's whereabouts to get in touch.
