Appeal to identify Metro passenger

[View Full Size]Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after passengers were racially abused on the Metro.
Between 9:18am and 9:22am on Thursday, April 26, racist comments were made towards two passengers who were waiting for a train on platform 2 at North Shields Metro Station.
Police want to speak to and identify a man in connection with the comments.
The man got on the front carriage of a metro train heading towards Newcastle and got off at Percy Main Metro Station.
Further racist comments were made during the journey.
Officers have carried out enquiries and are now issuing CCTV images of the man they want to identify.
Anyone who recognises this man or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Northumbria Police Metro Unit on 101 ext 69191.
