WE ASKED

What concerns do you have about your neighbourhood?

YOU SAID

We have concerns about theft from motor vehicles and damage to motor vehicles around Royal Quays, Preston Village  and in the vicinity of Preston Road.

WE DID

  • We targeted the area with additional patrols by police officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs).
  • We conducted additional cycle patrols in the area.

  • We used the CCTV systems in the area to identify offenders and a number of arrests have been made.

What concerns do you have about your neighbourhood?

We have concerns that there has been an increase in bicycle thefts.

WE DID

  • We targeted the area with extra foot and cycle patrols.

  • We used the CCTV systems in the area to identify offenders.

  • We made several arrests.

  • We have recovered a number of stolen bicycles.

What concerns do you have about your neighbourhood?

YOU SAID

We are concerned with crime and anti-social behaviour in Tynemouth.

 WE DID

  • We targeted the area with additional patrols by police officers and PCSOs.

  • We made frequent visits to off-licences to ensure that they complied with the law relating to selling alcohol to under 18s.

  • We supported the licensees by carrying out regular pub visits in the area.

  • We supported the Pubwatch Scheme which issued a number of Banning Orders on individuals found guilty of crime and anti-social behaviour.
