Search warrants have recently been executed.
Over the past month there have been nine shed/garage burglaries in the Hexham area. Gardening tools / power tools / bikes and electrical equipment have been stolen.
Householders are asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious incidents.

Retail crime in Hexham town centre.

Police and retailers continue to work together to prevent and deter offenders and detect shoplifting offences.
Regular patrols have been directed to Fore Street in Hexham. Crime prevention advice has been given and the Shopwatch scheme, radios and cctv systems used.
Five offences of shoplifting have ben reported in the past 4 weeks. Arrests have been made in connection with all of those crimes.
