This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
Did you know that you can report non-emergency crime, such as theft, anti-social behaviour or criminal damage to us online?
You can contact us on social media, via live chat, or by completing one of our online forms. It's a quicker, more efficient way to report to us and, if you speak to us on one of these platforms, you'll be talking to a real person in our control room ready to handle your enquiries and concerns. Find out more about your options below:
Tag us, leave a comment, or send us a private/direct message* to start a report, give us intelligence about a latest appeal or to tell us something you've seen or heard.
If you'd like to give us intelligence, respond to an appeal or tell us something you've seen or heard anonymously you can do this via a direct message. We might ask for some contact details for you for our records or further contact with our officers, but your name would not be listed as a source. If you're reporting a crime, we'll need information from you to make the report - our contact handlers are on hand to guide you through the reporting process.

If you've witnessed or been the victim of crime that isn't an emergency, please report it to us using an online form. Before you give us details of the crime, we'll ask you a few questions to make sure you go to the right online form.
