Report a missing person
If someone you know has gone missing or you've seen, or have information about, a missing person please get in touch.
You do not have to wait 24 hours to report someone missing. It is not wasting police time to report someone missing. We are here to protect you and your loved ones.
When you provide us with information about a missing person we'll:
- review and assess
- be in contact with you and tell you what will happen next

Report a missing person in another country
Thank you. If the person is not a UK national, or is currently living overseas, and is missing abroad (ie not from an address in the UK), then this falls under the jurisdiction of the police service in that country.
