I am requesting statistics on the number of complaints and disciplinary investigations/outcomes on any Sexual Harassment/Sexual Misconduct (Abuse of position of trust of a sexual nature) complaint against a Police Officer in your force between 2020 to 2023.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Professional Standards Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

The information provided has been taken from a ‘live’ database and may be subject to the addition and deletion of complaints, complainants, and subjects after the initial extraction of data used for the purposes of this request.
Data has been checked for allegations recorded between 01/01/2020 to 31/12/2023. Please note there are some cases that have been included that have been reported during the time requested but the incident may have happened earlier.
