Specifically relating to motorcycles only, how many fixed penalty notices (FPN'S) were issued to riders breaching legal noise limits on any public road/highway (under the provisions of any relevant legislation) in the period 1/1/23 - 31/12/23 throughout the whole of the Northumbria Police Force area.

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and we provide a response for your attention.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Fixed Penalty Unit of Northumbria Police. We can confirm that the information you have requested is not held by Northumbria Police, as there have been no such instances.
