The alleged conduct (in summary):

• Between February and December 2023 and whilst on duty, the officer made comments about or in relation to men in general that were sexist, inappropriate and offensive.

• In or around January 2024, whilst on duty, the officer made a comment about transgender women in general which was transphobic, inappropriate and/or offensive.

It is alleged that the officer’s conduct at (1) and (2) above breaches the Standards of Professional Behaviour relating to Discreditable Conduct, Authority, Respect and Courtesy and Equality and Diversity and amounts to Gross Misconduct.

If you wish to apply to attend the hearing, you must book no later than 1pm on Monday 27 July.  This is to allow for sufficient time to progress the application.  Any requests received after this time will be unable to be processed in time for the hearing and therefore will be rejected. 

The identity of victims/witnesses may be protected during the hearing as appropriate.
