We are continuing to tackle retail crime and anti-social behaviour through a range of proactive measures, including increasing officer visibility in identified hotspot areas, developing intelligence to better understand offending patterns, and working closely with partner agencies and local businesses to support shops and target those responsible. Officers are taking robust and positive action against offenders while also embracing innovative approaches to problem-solving, making the best use of technology and proactive policing tactics to prevent crime, disrupt criminal activity and keep our communities safe.

Vehicle Crime

We are committed to tackling crime through a proactive and intelligence-led approach. This includes increasing visibility in identified hotspot areas, enhancing intelligence development to build a clearer picture of offending and emerging trends, and deploying specialist resources to help prevent and detect crimes. We continue to work closely with partner agencies to safeguard victims, provide support where needed, and target those responsible for causing harm in our communities. Through robust investigation and positive action against offenders, we aim to protect the public, disrupt criminal activity and improve community safety.

Motorcycle-related anti-social behaviour

We are continuing to address anti-social behaviour through a proactive and partnership-led approach. This includes increasing visibility in identified hotspot areas, carrying out horizon scanning and seasonal planning to anticipate and respond to emerging issues before they escalate, and working closely with partner organisations to educate, divert and deter those at risk of offending. We are also adopting innovative problem-solving methods, making the best use of technology and intelligence to identify trends, target resources effectively and deliver long-term solutions that help keep our communities safe.
