Re-contact victims of ASB to gather further intelligence. Identify hotspot areas to patrol. Use offender-focused approach, supported by media updates, increased community intelligence, CCTV enquiries, and both visible and covert patrols in hotspot areas. We also have a day of action planned around ASB week of action, utilising the drone and uplifting vehicles under Road Traffic Act legislation.

We’re engaging closely with stores while increasing patrols and visibility in town centres. Positive action is being taken against offenders, including arrests, remands where appropriate, and seeking Criminal Behaviour Orders on charge. Some plain clothes operations are also taking place. Crime prevention advisors also on hand to give stores advice on how to protect their staff and stock.
